ABSTRACT

Introduction: The great diversity of tropical timber species demands the development of new technologies capable of identifying them based on their patterns or anatomical characteristics. The application of convolutional neural networks (CNN) for the recognition of tropical timber species has increased in recent years due to the promising results of CNNs. Objective: To evaluate the quality of macroscopic images with three cutting tools to improve the visualization and distinction of anatomical features in the CNN model training. Methods: Samples were collected from 2020 to 2021 in areas of logging and sawmills in the Central Jungle, Peru. They were later sized and, after botanical and anatomical identification, cut in cross sections. A database of macroscopic images of the cross-section of wood was generated through cutting with three different tools and observing its performance in the laboratory, field, and checkpoint. Results: Using three cutting tools, we obtained high quality images of the cross section of wood; 3 750 macroscopic images were obtained with a portable microscope and correspond to 25 timber species. We found the ''Tramontina'' knife to be durable, however, it loses its edge easily and requires a sharpening tool, the ''Pretul'' retractable cutter is suitable for cutting soft and hard wood in small laboratory samples and finally the ''Ubermann'' knife is suitable for use in the field, laboratory, and checkpoint, because it has a durable sheath and interchangeable blades in case of dullness. Conclusion: The quality of the images is decisive in the classification of timber species, because it allows a better visualization and distinction of the anatomical characteristics in training with the EfficientNet B0 and Custom Vision convolutional neural network models, which was evidenced in the precision metrics.

ABSTRACT

Good quality planting materials for yam cultivation is a major challenge and adapting the most preferred local varieties to high ratio propagation methods such as the vine cutting could help ameliorate this constraint. An experiment was conducted in the screen house at CSIR-Savanna Agricultural Research Institute to assess the response of ‘Labako’, ‘Nyamenti’ and ‘Kpamyo’ (check) to vine cutting under different substrates. The experiment was 3 x 6 factorial arranged in a completely randomized design with 3 replications. Single node cuttings were obtained from 3 months old plants and established in the various rooting substrates (carbonized rice husk; fermented rice bran; aged rice husk; top-soil ,cocopeat and carbonized rice husk + top-soil; 2:1).Highly significant differences (P<0.001) existed in main effects and interaction of the factors. All cultivars attained 100% survival in CRH (carbonized rice husk) and cocopeat. Kpamyo and Nyamenti had 89.6% regeneration in cocopeat, FRB (fermented rice bran) and CRH. Labako exhibited the maximum shoot growth (31 cm) in CRH whiles the minimum (10 cm) was observed in ARH (aged rice husk) for Kpamyo. Six nodes were produced by Nyamenti in CRH, whiles Kpamyo produced 3 nodes in the same substrate. Labako initiated 88% tuberization, higher than Kpamyo with 75%. Generally, the cultivars were successfully adapted to the vine cutting technique in CRH, FRB as well as cocopeat. CRH and FRB are locally available, hence less expensive to acquire and therefore recommended for cost-effective single node propagation of the popular local yam cultivars.

ABSTRACT

Poultry farming has led Brazil to be the leading exporter of chicken meat, since 2011, and the third global producer of this protein. Therefore, it is important that every producer has and maintains a continuous biosecurity program, strictly respecting each stage or management practice in order to obtain the economic success of their production. Supported by preventive veterinary medicine, a biosecurity program must present aspects directed to each protection system in particular, to prevent and control the presence and/or introduction of pathogenic microorganisms in herds. The objective of this work is to present an updated review of the literature on biosecurity programs to prevent the proliferation of pathogenic agents in poultry farming, such as the two types of Salmonella that pose risks to public and animal health. The research is qualitative, bibliographical-documentary exploratory, with research on sites such as Google Scholar, Unipar's veterinary magazine, SCIELO, CAPES portal and government sites. The result of the research presented a real panorama on the use of biosecurity programs in Brazil, directed to poultry production, demonstrating that producers are becoming aware of the importance of these programs, due to the pressure of the global export market. It is concluded that there is still a lack of greater awareness on the part of all Brazilian producers, to prevent the produced herd from being contaminated by pathogenic agents, mainly Salmonella, preventing public and animal health from being compromised. Only in this way will Brazil be able to maintain and further expand the poultry market at a global level.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Abstract Some studies report the positive effect of organic residues from ant nests on soil properties and on the structure of the adjacent plant community in field experiments, but there is a gap about the effect on individual species. The purpose of the present study was to compare the soil nutrient content and the development of Turnera subulata Smith, an ornamental species, in the presence of the nest refuse (basically composed of fragments of grass leaves and the symbiotic fungus) produced by the leaf-cutting ant Acromyrmex balzani (Emery, 1890) or in control soil through a greenhouse pot experiment. The experiment was carried out with two treatments: control soil and soil with 25% of nest refuse. The plants were kept in 1L pots for 90 days. We evaluated the parameters: plant height, stem diameter, root length, number of leaves, dry weight of the root, dry and fresh aboveground biomass. Additionally, the relative chlorophyll content and leaf nutrients were used as nutritional parameters. As a result, plants that grew in the soil with nest refuse showed significant higher values of all parameters evaluated when compared to the control treatment (p < 0.001). We conclude that this biofertilizer contributed to the production of more vigorous plants, being able to act on the local dynamics of nutrients in the ecosystems where A. balzani occurs. As it is relatively abundant and easy to collect, the refuse of A. balzani has the potential to be used as an alternative substrate in the production of shortlife cycle plants.

ABSTRACT

DNA barcoding has been widely used for herb identification in recent decades, enabling safety and innovation in the field of herbal medicine. In this article,we summarize recent progress in DNA bar-coding for herbal medicine to provide ideas for the further development and application of this tech-nology.Most importantly, the standard DNA barcode has been extended in two ways.First, while conventional DNA barcodes have been widely promoted for their versatility in the identification of fresh or well-preserved samples,super-barcodes based on plastid genomes have rapidly developed and have shown advantages in species identification at low taxonomic levels.Second,mini-barcodes are attractive because they perform better in cases of degraded DNA from herbal materials. In addition, some mo-lecular techniques, such as high-throughput sequencing and isothermal amplification, are combined with DNA barcodes for species identification, which has expanded the applications of herb identification based on DNA barcoding and brought about the post-DNA-barcoding era.Furthermore, standard and high-species coverage DNA barcode reference libraries have been constructed to provide reference se-quences for species identification, which increases the accuracy and credibility of species discrimination based on DNA barcodes. In summary,DNA barcoding should play a key role in the quality control of traditional herbal medicine and in the international herb trade.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigates the applicability of cutting balloon in the pretreatment of superficial coronary artery calcified lesions, so as to decrease the occurrence of serious consequences in the treatment of calcified lesions. Methods The effect of cutting balloon on calcified plaques with different curvatures, thickness, and length was analyzed using the finite element method, with normal balloon as a control. The thickness of calcified plaque was set to 0.3 mm and 0.4 mm, and the length was set to 2 mm and 4 mm. The calcification degree was set to 120°, 180°, 270°and 360° according to the intravenous ultrasound (IVUS) calcification severity grading, with a total of 16 types of calcified plaques. The brittle fracture module was used to simulate calcification fracture of calcified plaques, and virtual stent implantation was carried out based on pretreatment simulation. The effect of pretreatment was evaluated by calcification fracture condition and stent roundness. Results For superficial calcification lesions, in lesions less than 120°, the balloon could not remove the calcification plaque obstruction, and the stent roundness rate was 82.75%. In 180° calcified lesions with thickness of less than 0.3 mm, the calcification was broken by cutting balloon under 1 215.9 kPa expansion pressure, and the post-stent roundness rate was 74.42%; normal balloon could not cause calcification fracture under safe expansion pressure (1 418.55 kPa). In 270°calcified lesions with thickness less than 0.3 mm, the normal balloon produced 3 fractures under 1 013.25 kPa expansion pressure. The cutting balloon produced 2 fractures under 1 013.25 kPa expansion pressure, and the balloon could not fracture the circular calcified lesions with thickness of 0.3 mm. Conclusions Cutting balloon is recommended for 180°calcified lesions with thickness less than 0.3 mm, the normal balloon is recommended for 270°calcified lesions, and balloon pretreatment is not recommended for annular lesions with thickness greater than 0.3 mm.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To evaluate the effect of self-made lithotomy heating mask on intraoperative and postoperative body temperature and short-term postoperative outcome indicators in patients undergoing radical resection of rectal cancer. Methods:Using the method of quasi experimental research design, 100 patients with open rectal cancer in Ningbo Huamei Hospital of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences from February to July 2021 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into experimental group and control group with 50 cases in each group. The control group was kept warm by routine methods, and the experimental group was kept warm by self-made lithotomy heating hood. The changes of core temperature at different time points before, during and after operation were compared between the two groups. The incidence of accidental hypothermia and shivering, the recovery time of anesthesia, and the incidence of various complications within 48 hours after operation were compared between the two groups after operation from the beginning of the operation to 6 hours after returning to the ward. Results:From 30 minutes after anesthesia to 3 hours after entering the ward, the core temperatures of the experimental group at 10 time points were higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( t values were 3.48-37.30, all P<0.01). From the beginning of surgery to 6 h after returning to the ward, the incidence of perioperative accidental hypothermia in the experimental group was 2% (1/50), lower than 24% (12/50) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=11.06, P<0.05) . The number of cases of shivering in the experimental group was 10, lower than that in the control group of 22, the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=6.62, P<0.05) . The recovery time, extubation time and stay time in anesthesia recovery room of the experimental group were (8.44 ± 2.83), (13.05 ± 4.72), (74.51 ± 11.82) min, which were shorter than those of the control group (15.35 ± 2.09), (17.62 ± 3.28), (89.14 ± 9.19) min, and the difference was statistically significant ( t=-13.89, -5.62, -6.91, all P<0.01). The number of cases of agitation, delirium and nausea and vomiting in the experimental group was 3, 1 and 2 respectively, which was lower than 13, 7 and 8 in the control group, and the difference were statistically significant ( χ2=7.44, 4.89, 4.00, all P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse cardiac events between the two groups ( P>0.05). Conclusions:The application of self-made lithotomy heating mask in open rectal cancer surgery can effectively improve the risk of hypothermia at different time points during and after surgery, reduce the incidence of shivering, restlessness, postoperative nausea, vomiting and delirium, shorten the time of awakening and extubation, and prevent postoperative complications. It has practical value in clinic.

ABSTRACT

@#AIM: To study the cutting error of central corneal thickness(CCT)after small incision lenticule extraction(SMILE)in patients with different degrees of myopia. <p>METHODS: Myopic patients who had undergone SMILE surgery from May 2020 to September 2020 at the Jiangsu Province Hospital were included in the study. Data were organized by refractive status into low, moderate, and high myopia groups. The CCT was measured by the Pentacam anterior segment analysis system preoperatively and postoperatively at 1 and 3mo. Among different myopia groups, the cutting error(ΔCCT, defined as the difference between actual CCT and the predicted CCT)was calculated simultaneously during each visit. The difference ratio of ΔCCT and the relationship between ΔCCT, CCT, and cutting diameter were analyzed. <p>RESULTS: There were 221 patients(432 eyes)included in our study. At 3mo after operation, the ΔCCT in the high myopia group was larger than the low and moderate myopia group(χ2=225.74, 62.55; all <i>P</i><0.01), and the moderate myopia group was larger than the low myopia group(χ2=132.77, <i>P</i><0.01). The cutting deviation rate was also significantly different among three groups at 1 and 3mo after surgery. Pearson correlation analysis found that there was a linear regression relationship among preoperative refractive power, optical zone diameter and the central corneal cutting error at 3mo after operation(<i>r</i>=0.699, <i>P</i><0.001; <i>r</i>=0.572, <i>P</i><0.001). <p>CONCLUSION: The ΔCCT after SMILE increased with the increased of myopia, and the cutting error was positively correlated with preoperative equivalent spherical power and optical zone diameter.

ABSTRACT

Abstract The native stands of 'candeia' (Eremanthus erythropappus) have been explored through management plans due to the economic potential of essential oil. The rescue of adult trees, as well as the application of silvicultural techniques that favor the restoration of the stand, can contribute to the genetic conservation of this species. This study's objective was to assess the efficiency of propagation techniques for the rescue of 26 matrices of 'candeia' in a natural managed stand and discussion about the rhizogenesis. In August 2017, trees were induced to regrowth by coppice, followed by exposure and scarification of roots. The emergence of shoots and morphology were evaluated according to the origin (i.e., stump or root). After that period, 19 matrices had their sprouts collected for the preparation of apical cuttings. Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) was applied at the base of the cuttings. Cutting survival at greenhouse exit (GE), rooting at shade house exit (SHE), morphology and root anatomy were evaluated. In 189 days, the scarification of roots promoted 76.92% of budding. The percentage of sprouted matrices, number of shoots per matrice, length, diameter, and shoot length/diameter ratio increased over time. Only 12.2% of the cuttings survived in GE, and of these, 7.9% rooted in SHE. The cutting resulted in the formation of a clonal mini-garden of 'candeia', with seven of the 19 matrices submitted to propagation. The anatomical analyses showed that bud formation occurs from cell redifferentiation in the phloem parenchyma, and presence of crystals on the walls of the vessel elements of the secondary xylem. The shoots induction from scarification of roots could be used as a silvicultural practice for the reestablishment of the native fragments handle.

ABSTRACT

Objectives: To evaluate the frequency and severity of pulmonary parenchymal hemorrhage after coaxial transthoracic needle biopsy of the lung, according to procedural factors, not yet described in literature. The aim of this study was to determine whether the choice of the coaxial biopsy technology, patient positioning and the lesion dignity are three new variables influencing the risk of parenchymal hemorrhage after coaxial biopsies of the lung. Methods: Records from 117 patients who underwent transthoracic needle biopsies of the lung between January 2018 and April 2020 have been retrospectively reviewed. The primary outcome was pulmonary hemorrhage. A grading system has been used to classify pulmonary parenchymal hemorrhage: Grade 0 Grade 3. Three novel patient, technique and lesion-related variables were evaluated as predictors of pulmonary hemorrhage: coaxial biopsy technology, patient positioning and lesion dignity. Results: Out of the 117 patients, 18 (15,4%) patients with cutting coaxial biopsy technology, versus 29 (24,8%) patients with full core coaxial technology showed significant hemorrhage on the post-biopsy control scans. (95% CI 0,06-0,33, p<0,0001). No significant difference in pulmonary hemorrhage between benign and malignant histological diagnosis (95% CI 0,84-4,44, p=0,1199) and prone or supine patient positioning (95% CI: 0,57-2,57, p= 0,6232) was found. Conclusions: The incidence and severity of pulmonary hemorrhage depends on the coaxial biopsy technology used; being higher in patients undergoing a biopsy with full-core technology and lower after the use of cutting technology. No significant correlation between parenchymal pulmonary hemorrhage and patient positioning or lesion dignity was established in this prognostic study.

ABSTRACT

Abstract The objective of this work was to evaluate the nutritional quality in 3 cultivars of alfalfa, belonging to different winter dormancy (GRI), subjected to two cutting frequencies during one year of cultivation, based on the abundant information existing in studies carried out in productivity, coverage and persistence, not so in the determination of quality of forage subjected to different frequencies of cuts and contrasting GRI. Three cultivars (GR6-Verzy), (GR9-Mecha) and (GR10-Ruano) were tested. The experimental design was a complete split plot with four repetitions. Two treatments defined by the cutting intervals were established: T1: 25 days and T2: 35 days. These were specified for spring, summer and fall seasons. For winter the interval was 45 and 55 days in T1 and T2, respectively. The evaluated variables were: percentage of dry matter (% DM), percentage of crude protein (% PB), percentage of neutral detergent fiber (% FDN) and percentage of acid detergent fiber (% FDA). Significant differences were found for all the nutritional variables studied, for both treatment with p <0.05 with InfoStat program. Interaction between cultivars and treatment was observed for % PB. The 35 days cutoff frequency of yielded the lowest percentages of PB and the highest percentages of FDN and FDA. Hence the forage resulting from this frequency is of a lower quality, leading to decreased digestibility and lower performance of pasture for livestock.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Cedrela fissilis is a species of great genetic diversity, with low population density and seminal propagation, which causes difficulties in the vegetative propagation process. This research evaluated the vegetative rescue and propagation of stem cutting rooting originated from epicormic and canopy sprouts of C. fissilis. For this, the induction of epicormic sprouts was evaluated 52 days after the complete girdling and semi-girdling 20 and 40 cm from the ground, and no girdling treatment, during spring (2018), summer (2018) and autumn (2019). The variables evaluated were, survival (%), sprouting (%), number, length (cm) and diameter (mm) of sprouts. The cuttings were made from spring epicormic sprouts, divided in two categories: 10 cm cuttings placed vertically in pits and 5 cm cuttings placed horizontally in furrows. The canopy sprouts were collected in the summer, then cut in apical and intermediate cuttings (15 cm). After 60 days, the cuttings were evaluated in survival (%), rooting (%), callus (%), average number and length of roots (cm). Results showed that only the complete girdling produced sprouts (average >67%) with no difference between 20 and 40 cm heights, with a greater number of sprouts during spring. The cuttings from epicormic sprouts, planted vertically in pits presented higher percentage of rooting (44%) than cuttings planted horizontally in furrows (17%). Cuttings from the canopy had inconsiderable rooting (apical - 2%; intermediate - 0%). The girdling periods influences the number of epicormic sprouts and its use for cutting was more efficient in rooting.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT For eusocial insects, the nest is a place where the main social interactions occur. The nest architecture ensures protection from predators and the environment, as well as suitable conditions for brood rearing, food storage, and in some cases the cultivation of fungus farms. Variations in nest architecture can occur, according to the environmental conditions. In order to elucidate the internal organization of nests, most studies use 2D schemes and photographs to illustrate the nest architecture models. However, 3D models can provide a different and more realistic view of the nest architecture. The aim of this study was to describe the nest architecture and colony size of the grass-cutting ant Acromyrmex balzani (Emery), using 3D models to illustrate these features. The structures of eight colonies were measured and the data were used to create a 3D model of each nest. Externally, the nests had one or more piles of loose soil and waste, with a single straw turret over the entrance. Underground, the nests had from 2 to 6 chambers, at a maximum depth of 122 cm. It could be concluded that the observed nest architecture of Acromyrmex balzani followed, at least in part, the pattern already reported in the literature. However, this is the first report of connection between two chambers made by two shafts, as well as the presence of the turret at the nest entrance/exit, regardless of the season of the year. These differences evidence that the nest structures may vary, depending on intrinsic or local environmental conditions.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To estimate the mental symptoms in malignant tumor patients undergoing chemotherapy using DSM-5 cross cutting symptom measure. Methods:A total of 314 patients who undergoing chemotherapy in oncology department of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University who met all standards were chosen. The DSM-5 cross cutting symptom measure Level 1 Scale was used to assess the mental symptoms of the patients. SPSS 25.0 software was used for χ 2 test, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results:The most common symptoms in the patients were depressive symptoms(85/314, 27.1%), somatic symptoms (79/314, 25.2%), manic symptoms (78/314, 24.5% ) and anxiety symptoms (76/314, 24.3%). The proportion of anxiety symptoms in malignant tumor patients who were taken care of by other personnel(26/64, 40.6%) was significantly higher than that in patients who were taken care of by immediate relatives(50/250, 20.0%)(χ 2=12.23, P<0.05). Patients with unstable working conditions were more likely to have depressive symptoms (χ 2=7.64, P<0.05). There was a significant negative correlation between the patients' understanding of the disease and their scores of depressive symptoms, somatic symptoms, manic symptoms, anxiety symptoms and the total score of mental symptoms( r= -0.26, -0.15, -0.12, -0.25, -0.22, all P<0.05). In addition, the total score of mental symptoms of malignant tumor patients was significantly positively correlated with family burden and family status( r=0.11, 0.11, both P<0.05), and negatively correlated with patients' education ( r=-0.13, P<0.05). Multiple regression analysis showed that the degree of understanding of the disease( β=-0.203) and family status( β=0.197) were the influencing factors of mental symptoms of inpatients malignant tumors undergoing chemotherapy in general hospital ( F=13.653, P<0.001). Conclusion:Malignant tumor patients undergoing chemotherapy may have a variety of mental symptoms. The high incidence mainly includes depressive symptoms, somatic symptoms, manic symptoms and anxiety symptoms. The understanding of the patients to the disease and family situation are the main influencing factors.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVES@#At present, removable partial denture is still one of the main restoration methods for dentition defects. However, the trend for digital partial denture is becoming more and more obvious in the field of oral repair. However, there are relatively few studies on digital removable partial denture. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of 3 processing technologies (precision casting, digital cutting, and 3D printing) on the fitness for the clasps of cobalt chromium alloy and pure titanium removable partial denture, and to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical application of digital removable partial denture.@*METHODS@#Clasps of Co-Cr alloy and pure titanium were produced by 3 different processing technologies (precision casting, digital cutting, and 3D printing). There are 6 groups, including a casting pure titanium group, a casting cobalt chromium group, a cutting pure titanium group, a cutting cobalt chromium group, a printing pure titanium group, and a printing cobalt chromium group (@*RESULTS@#There was no statistical difference in fitness between the casting pure titanium group and the casting cobalt chromium group (@*CONCLUSIONS@#The cobalt chromium alloy and pure titanium clasps made by precision casting, digital cutting, and 3D printing have good fitness. Under the same process, there is no significant difference between cobalt chromium alloy and pure titanium clasps. The 3D printing pure titanium clasps have better fitness than casting pure titanium and cutting pure titanium clasps, which meet the needs of clinical application.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the characteristics of knee kinematics and ground reaction force (GRF), as well as the stress state of cartilage and meniscus in the process of lateral incisions at different cutting angles under expected conditions. Methods Kinematics and GRF data of 14 subjects at 45°, 90° and 135° cutting angle respectively under expected conditions were collected. The knee joint reaction force was obtained through the inverse dynamics calculation of Visual 3D. Based on three-dimensional (3D) finite element model of the knee joint, the contact process at 3 lateral cutting angles was simulated. ResultsUnder expected conditions, there were significant differences in knee joint kinematics characteristics at 3 cutting angles during contact process(P<0.001), and the knee flexion increased with the cutting angle increasing; the vertical GRF decreased significantly with the cutting angle increasing (P<0.001), while the horizontal GRF showed the opposite trend; for 3 cutting angles, the peak contact stress of patellar cartilage and femoral cartilage was larger at 90° cutting angle, the peak principal stress at anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) contact point was also larger at 90° cutting angle, and the following was at 135° and 45° cutting angle, respectively; the peak contact stress of lateral femoral cartilage was larger than that of medial femoral cartilage at 3 cutting angles. Conclusions The risk of knee joint injury is higher at 90° cutting angle, and the stress state of knee joint at 135° cutting angles is better than that at 90° cutting angle, and the risk of knee joint injury does not increase with the increase of cutting angle under expected conditions.

ABSTRACT

The rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis Müell. Arg.) is a species of significant economic interest in the natural rubber industry in Brazil and the world. This species presents recalcitrance to rooting, and its cuttings are difficult to propagate. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of the pre-conditioning of rubber tree mini-cuttings with zinc on the improvement of the adventitious rooting of rootstocks. Mini-cuttings were standardized with 45 mm length and submitted to preconditioning by immersion of the mini-cutting base in solutions containing 0.00; 0.04; 0.08; 0.16; 0.32 and 0.64 mg L-1 of Zn, for 24 hours. The experimental design was randomized blocks with six treatments and four replicates of 10 mini-cuttings. The rubber tree mini-cuttings were placed in a fitotron-type growth chamber, at 25 °C, with 12-hour photoperiod, 5,000 K intensity, and 95% of relative air humidity, for 60 days. The survival rate, number of buds, percentage of mini-cuttings that had leaf abscission, the percentage of mini-cuttings with callogenesis in the root meristem, the percentage of rooted mini-cuttings, the number of primary roots and root length were evaluated. The highest values of survival rate, the number of buds, the number of primary roots, the percentage of mini-cuttings with callogenesis in the root meristem, the percentage of rooted mini-cuttings and root length were observed with 0.16 to 0.26 Mg L-1 of Zn. The use of zinc in the mini-cuttings of rubber tree reduces linearly the percentage of mini-cuttings that had leaf abscission and the formation of callogenesis in the root meristem.

A seringueira (Hevea brasiliensis Müell. Arg.)
